THE PERFECT STORM

While most brides dream of a bright sunshiny wedding day, photographers dream of days like this.

From the first look to the sparkler send off, there were so many dramatic moments captured that portrayed Tori & Brendan’s vision for their wedding. We often found ourselves pivoting quickly in order to capture the dramatic moment-by-moment weather changes. With Tori’s blushy pink gown, rare lighting, and a sky this mesmerizing, can you blame us for wanting this day to never end?!

We also got to experience the thrill of shooting on ice. Tori & Brendan skated around the Manchester Ice and Event Center in McCall while we burned it up with our cameras! The hour seemed to go by too quickly, but we captured so many unique and personal-to-them images…. and had a blast in the process. We love it when our brides and grooms have unique photo ideas that showcase their personalities! Brendan and Tori are both hockey fans and Brendan has recently become a professional hockey referee. If you’re a steelheads fan you might look for him at the games! The reception at top Condo Naste rated Shore Lodge was spectacular, as you can see from the images below, there was even a rainbow at the end of the dock.

This day was the perfect storm with so many details, personal touches and memorable moments. Tradition say that a rainy wedding day brings good luck to an everlasting marriage. The rain signifies a cleansing of the past, and when the sun finally starts to break through the clouds, it’s a fresh start to a new chapter in life. WOW, what an epic way to celebrate a wedding. We know that every single wedding guest felt the magic that day.
