She said YES!

Christy was surprised when she got the white bowling ball that read "Christine will you marry me!" She was even more suprised to see Chuck kneel down with flowers and ring and popped the big question! She said yes! If there are any guys out there who are looking for a really cool way to pop the question make sure you give Ellen Fox a call!

Friday the 13th in the Ville!

Friday the 13th in the Ville was good karma for Summers and Blake! We ventured downtown and found a red taxi cab, a hidden alley and a cool brick wall! We didn't see a black cat or that weirdo wearing a ski mask! What I did find was a romatic couple who really enjoyed being together! After the shoot we found a great place to relax and talk--Proof on Main!

Father and Son Pictures

Something came to me the other day when I was out for my long walk. Alot of you might not know that my father is very ill and has been for a very long time. He has battled MS his whole life. On top of that, he was diagnosed with cancer this past year which is terminal. After going through family pictures, I noticed that I don't have many pictures of my dad and me together and the few that I do have were mainly family portraits. None of the photos portrayed the personal relationships that he shared with me or the rest of my family. It would have been great to have seen pictures of him throwing ball with me or chasing me around outside with the water hose or giving me a piggy back ride in the park. There were no hugs or kisses to be seen. That's why I felt the reason to write this post. I urge you to get those pictures with your children so they can look back one day and see the relationship they had with you. Life is really about those special moments with the people you love and the relationships you share. My kids will never see what I shared with my dad. They will know him only through stories that I tell. That inspired me to get out my camera and get some pictues of myself with my little ones. I want to be able to show the love and the connection I have with my kids. They are truly my motivation and passion and hopefully one day they will appreciate the fact that I took time to photograph us together. Here are some of my favorites.

Stacey and Eric's Engagement Shoot

What happened to the nice warm weather? Stacey and Eric braved the cold air to photograph their engagement session last week. They were great and they sure didn't look cold! I made sure I put them in the warm sun and got them doing some fun things together. Here are a few of their pictures from that day. I'm hoping for some warm weather soon!

Working Out!

I'm excited to tell you that I've lost 10 pounds!! Can't believe that I've lost that much. I made it a goal this year to get back in shape! No more eating my favorite junk food! Moderation and being active is Key! I just got back from walking 45 minutes in the cold night air! Time to defrost.
